Depending on the time during which the cookies remain active on the device of the user accessing the website, they can be classified into:
Session Cookies: These are ones whose validity is limited to the duration of the user’s session. In other words, they collect and store the information necessary to provide the web services while the user is browsing.
Persistent Cookies: These are ones that are stored on the user’s access device after the user finishes using the web services. The owner of these cookies can access and process them for an indefinite period of time as long as the user does not delete them from their device. Analysis Cookies: These are the ones that allow the manager of the cookies to track and analyse user behaviour on the website. They make it possible to determine usage trends, website activity, the number of users in each section, etc., to develop profiles of users and enhance their experience. They are also used to determine which sections should be promoted or which require review in order to adapt them to the number of users or the ways they are being accessed.
Advertising Cookies: these enable efficient use to be made of the advertising spaces included by the owner of the website. The NOEL website does not include any type of advertising space.
Behavioural Advertising Cookies: these enable efficient use to be made of the advertising spaces included by the owner of the website and are based on the behaviour of the user accessing the web service. They are updated dynamically based on continued observation of the browsing habits, enabling a specific profile to be developed in order to display targeted and personalised advertising according to the user. The NOEL website does not include any type of advertising space.
